FAQ

Read on for the frequently asked questions about

Motowitch Campout 2021

  1. Do  I have to ride a motorcycle to attend the event?
No, you don’t. All you need is a healthy appreciation for motorcycles. There is a Ride-Out on Saturday afternoon where many of the attendees will be leaving for a few hours but you’re free to book a massage, a tattoo or just chill out at the campgrounds until they return and the party gets started. Do check with the vendors first as they may be joining the Ride-Out.

  2. Can I arrive in my car instead of motorcycle?
Sure! Parking is limited but when you arrive, you can check in with the ticket team,  drop your gear off there at the gate and park your car out in front of McCarthy’s on the street.

  3. Why can’t men attend?
Motowitch was started to give womxn riders a place and group where they could feel comfortable while gaining confidence on two wheels. For the more experienced riders, it gives them the opportunity to share their knowledge and help expand the female portion of this male dominated community. Also, this year we are limited with how many can attend due to covid restrictions. So, we’re keeping things simple as a Girls Weekend Away. Our next event will be mixed so be sure to sign up for our newsletter to get the deets.

  4. I have a motorcycle related business; Can I trade at the event?
Hell yeah! Email us with “Campout Vendor” in the subject line and we’ll give you the lowdown. We love to work with small businesses and those with a view to supporting womxn motorcycle riders.

  5. I can’t trade but I’d like to become a sponsor/partner. How do I do this?
We have different packages for sponsors who can’t be present at the location. Perhaps you want to provide some product for swag bags, or a raffle? Or maybe you only want your logo on all our posters and social media mentions of the event? Or Social Media shout outs. We even have the option to fly your branded flags at the event. Email us. Let’s Talk.

  6. What time can I pitch my tent?
We will open the gates at 3pm on Friday Aug 27th no sooner and they’ll close again at 2pm sharp on Sunday 29th.

  7. Where exactly is the event?
McCarthy’s Pub and Restaurant is located on the Main Street of Fethard, Co. Tipperary. Click HERE to see it on Google Maps. The Campout takes place BEHIND McCarthy’s. See site map for details.
